Are they worth the time & money to do it on old mx5?

Looking at mx5 parts, they are £85 for front, £120 on rears.

has anyone fitted new bushes and does it improve handling and reduce the banging noises?

Only worth doing if yours are shot IMO.

I've never seen that in any of the 5's I've owned.

I have 3 outside with Polybushes fitted, I couldn't tell you which by driving them.
