I'll see your jubilee clips and raise you cables ties, which is what's currently holding the exhaust pipe in place on my 5!

You can fix absolutely anything with cables ties and gaffer tape.

I don't want to ruin the party, but - if the JC is stainless I'll give it 12 Months, other than that I very much doubt a plated/mild steel equivalent would see in the New Year.

Get it TIG welded, scratchchin might be a good idea to tack it as is, remove the JC & run an inch along both sides with some 316L filler wire in situ - remembering of course beforehand to remove the battery terminals & keep the set's earth clamp as close as possible to the weld. coffee

Jubilee clip was stainless, but don't worry - was only a temporary measure.
Have a brand new back box now as it was still under warranty smile
