Not sure of Mazda factory settings but I currently run a pretty commonly accepted 'fast road' setup (fairly conservative):

castor: max available (4.5°+)
Front camber: -1°
Front toe-in: 1/16in
Rear camber: -1.5°
Rear toe-in: 1/16in

Hi Dave, have a look at wheels in motion, they're not in the Staffs area, but Tony is a great bloke thumbup & may be able to suggest somwhere & give you the settings.

thanks for replies and setup data ,may have found a place in newcastle-under-lyme ,psi tuning who specialise in vw and audi tuning but they have similar equipment to wheels in motion and reckons an mx5 should be no problems.has quoted £45 for first hour and reckons that should be enough ,will take some setup data with me and see how it goes ,will update later.

Get in touch with Tony at WiM anyway as he can give you the best alignment settings for the car. He might even know the guys at psi. A few times in the past he's given alignment places a call in advance for people to give them the best settings and to sound them out to make sure they do know what they're doing. He's a good guy is Tony, really passionate about his job and not just out to make money.
