My pasenger side mirror fell off, anyone know how to fix it

The mirror has a ball and socket, the bolt has rusted so the mirror has come away from the base, is this something I can fix or is it a replacement thang?

You should be able to just replacethe rusted bolt , here is the repair kit for it.

Cheers DM, just followed the instructions, mirror apart, will remove the base from the door next and get a bolt.
I will spray the mirror while I am at it.

My 2p on this fault: make sure the new bolt is screwed-in *real* tight as otherwise your mirror will easily droop after being re-fitted (guess how I know this..)
