hi all, the Mrs has a MK1 eunos and her drivers window is knackered. ive had the door panel off and had a fiddle with it and it looks like the wires are all intact, just messed/ tangled up.
is there anywhere in the south that can have a look for us?
also while im here the door speakers are 6.5" ?

Thanks
Andy.

Does knackered mean it doesn't work at all or works very slowly? If very slowly the slides and window rubbers may need lubricated.

Not worth messing with.

Stick in a new worm drive unit for £65ish off Ebay.

I have just changed the cables on mine, very easy to do if you're patient and it cost £41.00 from MX5parts.

If you have to pay someone to swap the wires (99% of the time they break)

Then it'll be cheaper to buy a new worm drive unit and you'll have a far superiour unit.

I have changed wires ands greased everything up and still some cars have slow windows, its simply a rubbish design.
