Trackdays and towhooks...

I'm thinking of getting my Mk1 Eunos onto a trackday.

Will I need towhooks front and back? If so, where can I get them?

Yes.

Std ones are fine ignore all the "Tie down" rubbish just make sure you are only towed by one at a time.

If you haven't got any I can happily sell you some std ones or some aftermaket stainless ones (coming in shortly) PM if interested.

The only advantage with aftermarket ones is the weight saving - standard ones are surprisingly heavy! I'm using standard though. I refitted one on front & back on passenger side (I'd previously removed all of them and refitted when I started using the car on trackdays) so at least I'm saving 1/2 the weight

Ah, ok! I'd heard these little 'baby teeth' weren't for towing and I imagined I'd have to buy some lairy, bright yellow towing eyes... I'll put down the Demontweeks catalogue and go and book myself in to a trackday... this should be fun!

This is going to apply to my Eunos as well and it's something that hadn't crossed my mind. Where do the tow hooks fit and what's involved in fitting them?

They should already be fitted assuming nobody has removed them at some time.

I can see a small hook on each side at the rear, just in front of the bumper, but should there be something at the front as well? I can't see anything.

There should be a metal loop either side (inside) of the air/radiator intake mate.
