MX-5 Roll Hoops

Not usually a poster on the Mazda forum - I'm a Clio V6 owner but I'm having a garage clearout and found the roll-hoop which had inexplicably been bolted into my Vee by the previous owner as some sort of cosmetic improvement (I know it's hard to imagine in a HT car). I think it's for an MX5 and I've stuck it on eBAY with that description as I want to clear it out and let someone who'd actually get some use out of it actually have it. But...anyone have one fitted to the car that they could measure to let me know if it really is for an MX5? Looks like other on eBay but want to be sure before someone buys it and finds it doesn't fit.

It does look like it would fit an MX-5. It's not really a roll-hoop though i.e. it offers zero roll protection. We tend to call them "style bars" just to make sure nobody confuses them with the real deal.

Thanks for the tip! I just followed the wording of all of the others being advertised on eBay. Looked like an MX5 one to me but you're right it doesn't look strong just shiny...
