After the horrible rain I finally managed to wash my car with meguiars which is a great sudsy car wash. thing is my pressure washer gave up the ghost and I really need another for my wheels as they got very very dirty and a sponge just does not reach the edges and corners. Can anyone recommend the best pressure washer, but want to keep cost down! My neighbour said he will take me to b and q as he gets 10% off but am sure I can get cheaper?
I fixed my aerial too, took motor out, when putting back on the nut to fix motor to boot got a spark from the nut touching the metal. Anyhow it pulled the new aerial down perfectly but now a quarter of it is stuck up above the rubber cover. So when I go to eccles to see wayne (who is going to fit missing bits to my engine) I will ask him to look at it again.

Why not just buy some decent alloy wheel cleaning solution? Quite a bit cheaper than a pressure washer, and less hassle!

Wickes do some good deals on Pressure Washers:

Here's the search:

This is the one I got (though it was on special offer @ £99 at the time):

Just the job smile

How about Wheel brush or Hose brush?
Hell of a lot cheaper than a pressure washer!

All you need is a wheel brush and some elbow grease - a pressure washer alone cannot clean wheels properly.

I could do with a new hose really as mine is so old its bent and twisted. It connects to the outside tap. I want one that does not twist and bend. I think I may get the meguiars wheel brush. These are my wheels.

I've got one of these - it's fab. And cheap as chips.

These are my wheels (albeit not on my car)
.

They're a bh to clean and a bh to get on and off as the recesses for the wheels nuts are only just big enough to fit a socket into, and the spokes are quite proud so I've got to wrap the socket wrench in a tea towel or similar otherwise it scratches them. But they look cool so its worth it. wink

Pop to your local market.

At Wellesborne for example there are loads of sellers selling new, boxed ones from Argos / B&Q etc from £15.
