My Exhaust has just shat itself...

Other than the MX5parts one http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/product...

What other cheapish, readily available S/S exhausts are available?

Oh and it has to sound nice too, like my current one... Are the MX5 parts ones loud?

We've got the mx5parts dual exit exhuast. Not too loud with a nice rasp at high revs and it doesn't seem too boomy.

Paid £150.00 for it one of their regular offers

I've got one of their dual exit pipes on my 1.6 along with a decat pipe, and it is very loud indeed. Keeping the cat on should shut it up a bit, but personally I really like the noise it makes without the cat.

I think our cat is breaking up so i'm considering getting a silenced bypass pipe...

I bought that as well - although I've not fitted it yet, its still sealed in its box in the Garage.

To the OP, the Spring Rally is at Elvington in Yorkshire next weekend. You should pick up some similar bargains from MX5Parts' stand there if you can wait that long.

I have this one fitted.

On light throttle it's fairly quiet. But on WOT through the mid-range it's rather raspy. I like it.

I ended up ordering the MX5 parts single exit, simply as you never hear a bad word about them, and it will arrive quick and be a doddle to fit supposedly.

It seems it has one less silencer than my already loud HKS superdrager - I am confident its going to sound awesome ( i have a sports car of some sort!).

Quick update, I have had the Longlife stainless steel exhaust fitted and could not be happier. You get a choice of tailpipe and sound and the whole thing is made and fitted in about three hours. They even gave me a car to use while they did the work.
