Spraying original alloys

After seeing on a previous thread a white mx5 with black standard wheels ive decided not to buy new wheels but refurb & spray the originals. The question is do I go for the all black wheel OR 2 colour them ive only really seen this done up close on a friends where he had black with red on the inside of the spokes which looked good on his car but im not sure what would look good on the 5 anyone else done this & if you have any pics they might help.

One suggestion I would make would if you can get the tyres off the rim it would make it easier!

Rub them down well, couple of coats of paint then laquer and that's it.

I can see a couple of sections that I missed as I get the tyres on the rim when I sprayed mine.
