my Mk2.5 MX5 for a Mk3 2l coupe, or a Z4 3l roadster or keep my current car?

I like both, can't decide.

yes I think I'm going to love it when I get chance to have a proper play without passengers, on roads and I know and when it's not raining, but if someone offered me a Z4....

FI the MX5.

You'll then be faster than the Z4, have more fun and lower running costs.

(Is is just me who thinks the z4 is UGLY ?)

Beauty is of course in the eye of the beholder; in black I think these are very nice indeed smile

I ran a 2.5l straight-six beemer mill for a while and the sound is quite intoxicating when giving it some.

Suggest a few test drives!

Me too, I've lusted after one of these since they came out!! Problem is, I prefer the shape of them as the coupe... to the roadster; and the option is not for the new Z4 which solves that problem (unfortunately).

Nope, me too.

Keep the MX and add an MP62 SC. You'll have most of the performance of the Z4 with better handling and people will still let you out at junctions!

Why not a TVR?

In fact I'd specifically recommend a mica blue 1992 S3 with very low miles and a full service history. hehe

Agreed; the Coupe looks the biz in a batmobile stylee wink

But then you lose the open-air drive; pays your money and takes your choice.

Having driven a couple of Z4s, I really like them, and if I could afford one, then certainly they'd be on the "next car" list. Unfortunately they are no-where near as much fun to drive as the MX-5, but are more of a motorway cruiser. The engine noise and power from the 3.0i version is excellent though.

Being nosey, would are you going to be asking for the 5 if you do sell her? I've been looking (but now stopped looking) for one, and the prices seem to range from the almost OK to the silly at this time of year...
