i've seen a nice mx5 for the OH.

now it seems a good price but the dealer aint budging at all. i've never paid the asking price before even if its a couple of hundred quid.

so i need your knowledgable information to tell me if the list price is good

Only thing that counts really. If the dealer wont sell it cheaper, you can't buy it cheaper.

Well, there's plenty of cars out there so I'm sure you'd probably find a car slightly cheaper with someone who is willing to haggle. Check out the classfieds (PH, autotrader, Mazda) to get a comparison. If it seems a reasonable price ask whether they will chuck in any extras, such as lowering the suspension etc. If you think you can get the car cheaper be prepared to walk away.

Price looks good. Is it a Sport or an "Option Pack" (ie. Leather or no Leather).
