MK3 re-trim

Hi

I have a grey MK3 with black leather. It's all a bit, well, black in there and I am considering retrimming the seats in another colour, perhaps a dark red. The covers look like they zip off at the back. Does anyone know whether you can get replacements and, if so, roughly how much do they cost? I would also need to replace the leather inserts on the door cards to match. And perhaps the gaiters on the handbrake and gearlever, which are currently in a nasty vinyl.

It certainly is - thanks very much.

Unlike most cars I have had, I do feel the Mazda is a "keeper" and so the costs mentioned seem reasonable. Like the person in your link, I find the seats cause discomfort in the backs of my legs over even fairly short journeys - I like the sound of the extra padding.
