Help - seeing an MX5 tomorrow and know very little

Hi PH MX5 types,

As the "friend that likes cars", I've been roped into going to see an MX5 with the wife's mate tomorrow. Please can I have some feedback on:


Is this "jasper conran" version really worth a 750 quid premium over top book?
What to look out for other than the normal crashed / condition / service etc?

any other pointers?

The JC was a limited edition and is pretty sought after. I believe they were the most expensive of all MX5s new, something like £25k!
