Small hole in vinyl roof....

Hello everyone,

I'd noticed a couple of times that there'd be a tiny 'peak' in the passenger side roof just above the frame after putting the roof up. It looks as though the frame is spiking the roof! Unfortunately, I popped out to the car yesterday (after a lovely night-time roof down drive home from work) and spotted a tiny 5mm tear where the peak was...

Has anybody else had problems with the frame spiking through the roof? And what would anyone recommend as the best way to fix the hole? At the moment it's a quick bodge with sellotape!
