Looking at a mx5 eunos turbo, running at about 160-170 bhp. Limited to 3k miles a year and so far have a quote for £540 from Adrian Flux but wondered who else I could try?

29 yrs old, I have no convictions, points etc but had one small prang a few years back. No NCB as would be a new car but have 5 years on daily driver (seat leon 130 TDI). Who else could I try or does this sound about right?

Thanks
Ben

If you can wait 'till your 30 try Hagerty. I've got one of their modern classic policies (fortunately I got in before they raised the age limit). Admittedly it's not on a Eunos but it's stupidly cheap, so possibly worth a call?

Your quote with Flux doesn't look bad to be fair. I used to have my supercharged '5 insured with A-Plan who were very good and competitive on price, but I have now moved it to a classic policy with Lancaster. This had 2 benefits, firstly it reduced the price significantly, and secondly, bacause classic policies don't use NCB, it freed up my full bonus to use on the Focus when we acquired that.
