Powerflow Exhaust...prices
Discussion
I'll be looking at getting a Powerflow exhaust for the '5 when I'm back (there are two places near me that do them) for the sound improvement. Just wondering how much they are? I realise that different franchises may charge different prices but a ball-park figure would be pretty handy! Price difference between twin exits or single exit would be cool too...
Cheers folks!

I have just had this made
2.5" bore (standard is 2" but I wanted something future proof if I go FI) 304 grade stainless including de-cat, unsilenced mid-pipe, rear box, single exit - £330
I'm booked back in at the weekend to put another silencer in the mid-pipe as it's too loud for me, apart from the volume the note is excellent, a lovely deep burble, pops and bangs on the overrun and flames between high rev gearchanges
Really good quality as I watched him make it, much better than the stty 'custom' one that came off. 25 year guarantee

i got a similar one a few years back, de-cat straight to downpipe, 2.5" no midbox and freeflow muffler. cost £260 at the time. then it started to rattle @really@ badly, took it back to ask them what they could do. apparently there's nothing they could do, and wanted £440 for a new one - i told them it only cost £260 and at the time i asked about any guarantee, was told if there was any problems just come back in - the guy just said "well you got a good price then didn't you, it will be £440".
luckily it stopped rattling after a few months, tho recently it's come back so i need to replace it again. wouldn't go back to powerflow tho after that, got a nice kakimoto for £70 will use the 2.5" pipe and just replace the backbox
