Good insurance quotes for a Eunos import?

Adrian Flux
I was with Privilege - and I had to renew last week .... £237.
Absolutely no-one came close to my renewal - which I was suprised about. Then, I got a nod towards Adrian Flux.
So gave them a call .... and got it down to £200.
That's fully comp, for business use, unlimited mileage, mrs as named driver, drive any other car, 30 days cover in europe, parked on drive way, etc, etc, etc, blah blah blah.
No brainer
Also - as an aside - they were only the 2nd insurance company ever, that I've spoken to - who actually had in interest in the car - and actually knew their stuff about it. And I got a discount for being a member of PH So do mention it.
For reference - the other company was Sunninghill - who used to insure my TiV - they knew more about my car than I did

Unfortunately I can't go "classic" policy because it's not garaged and used for work.
Are you sure about this? Adrian Flux have mine on a classic policy not garaged and with commuting to work added - do you actually use your car for more than just commuting?Edit : just seen you said "business use" so I assume more than just driving to work and back.

Have you tried Footman James? I've got my UK '5 on a classic policy with them, and it's not garaged (parked on drive) and covered for occasional commuting, and was just over £200 for a 5000 mile policy with 15% OC discount...
Nearest A-plan could get for me (despite trying hard to get it lower!) was £350...

Adrian Flux were the cheapest for me by a country mile. Or £100, whichever you prefer. £490 compared to £590 elsewhere. Brilliant fully comp policy too; it includes 90 days in Europe, UK & European breakdown cover including homestart and relay, unlimited miles, no extra on-car security necessary, parked on the road at night. Actually, it's on the drive at night now so I should think about asking for a discount when I ring up to get the reg. number changed to my private one. Adrian Flux, anyway!

Just gave Adrian Flux a call and they quoted 750 quid and told me to jump at A-Plan's £390
It's parked on the road, and business use which I think affects it. And it's "modified" although that is basically an air filter, a different steering wheel, and different wheels...

Sorry for the delay in replying to you.
If you could email me your details I can look into your quote for you and maybe explain why the quote was not as competitive as your A-Plan quote.
Dan.
Erm, slightly off topic, but do any of these guys offer track insurance either included or as a cost addition?
Inquired with my current insurer about a Eunos track car yesterday and they basically said anything with a cage was out. So if I do make the switch I might have to look for a different broker. The thing that would annoy me about that is the current firm are very cheap and bizzarely (despite the objection to track mods) offer cheap additional track cover.
