Gentlemen,

I've just bought a 2005 MX5 Icon and I'd like to replace the 15" 5-spoke wheels with ones I can only describe as having lots of spokes (!?) - BBS type Cross-spokes? Multi-spokes?

Does anyone know of a reputable supplier who'll give me the right weight/offsets etc.

Many thanks.

There is a list of weights here for some of the common MX5 options:

As far as aftermarket wheels go, I think there is a section on miata.net with a heap of weights etc.

Not sure about BBS style wheels on a Mk2.5. They suit a Mk1 but Mk2.5 looks too modern for retro wheels. That's my opinion anyway wink

With a retro look. They haven't changed much in 30 years! Ok they've tried to modernise it but you can still see its VW Beetle roots.

Blimey Lazza. Dont let the Porsche forums hear that! hehe

Is it wrong to say a GT3 has a retro look? I thought that was a good thing these days - like the Mk3 MX5 having styling cues from the Mk1.
Anyway, I'm not a Porsche fan. They are very capable but I think they look a bit dull (says the guy who drives a silver Focus :laugh). I think that's a bit O.T. though wink

smile I only suggest them because they are local to me. Bit for the local economy and all that. I've never used them and I've no idea what they cost. But I keep thinking I'll go over one day and have a look.

They even do 3 piece wheels that look like what you wanted. (Dont have to be gold). If you contact them do let us know what they cost....
