Anyone go for a spin yesterday in the brief sunshine?

Took a nice drive, roof-down, through Hertfordshire following a good DIY service session on Sat morning - new oil, filter, air filter and plugs - she felt good as new!

It what life is all about.

Yep I took my 200ish bhp Coldside out which felt positively slow after driving a 250ish bhp FM2 all week.

Still prefer my SC though and the speedo showed that it was no where near as slow as it felt !

Took my car from Peterborough down to WIM to have the geo sorted. What a great bunch of guys and what an improvement!! Got home considerably quicker than on the way down!! The sunshine was a nice bonus!!

Yep out on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday with the roof down.

So glad we're not selling it now!

I was out on Sunday evening, top down - lovely! I followed another Mk1 for a bit, through Loughborough and down the A512, which looked very racy, slightly lowered and with a very nice sounding exhaust. We got held up by a trafpol (driving slowly, not pulling us over!) a little way down A512 though, which was a bit of a shame... cop

Was out on Sunday with the roof down (of course)! Saw plenty of other convertible owners with the roof down, including a Jag and some Saab's, which surprised me!

Did around 60 miles, was great fun! biggrin.
