At last I've finally done it!
Discussion
I've been blathering about getting an MX5 for a couple of years now but I worked for Ford until 6 months ago and the offers I could get from them were always so tempting. Now however I've moved on, got a new job and it was time for a new car.
I was going to wait and get a face-lifted version but the run-out models were very keenly priced and I was able to get a fair trade in for my old SportKa, I popped a deposit down on the car last weekend and picked her up this morning.
She's a 2.0l Sport with Bose, Aircon and Eibachs in Highland Green (with Black leather) To say I'm happy is an understatement. The car looks fantastic and the drive is simply fantastic.
The dealer did say that it was aligned in their workshop but I'm still booked in to Wheels-In-Motion in a month or so's time to get it aligned, especially as I think the traction control light is a little eager to come on and I'm not doing anything too aggressive with her yet!
Here's a handful of pics from this afternoon, no doubt there'll be more when I find some decent roads to take her down!
