Hi all,

Just been to a Mazda dealer, and they'll do me a new one 2.0 with in black with Bose, leather, 17" alloys and Eichbach springs all in for about £14,750. Now I know the new one's just round the corner, but do you reckon its worth going for?

Cheers

I reckon it's a good deal, especially as the new one is so damned ugly.

How're you paying? Finance or outright? Any trade in?

I'm looking for a run out model at the moment (although prefer the looks of the face-lifted model) so would be looking for a keen deal. The price quoted for a 2.0L sport is good IMO and similar to what I would be looking for.

No, with a main dealer. And I have got no PX. It was £14,750 cash, or £5,000 down and £283 over 3 years. Works out at sometthing like £15,300. Seems pretty good.

What, uglier than the Mk3? I think not.

I just can't take to the front bumper. Why did they have to put a bumper in view in the mouth? Makes it look like the bd child of a Mk3 and a Peugeot 206!

Seems to be the only word he knows today, judging by some of his other posts!

I adore the look of the Mk3 and the new one.

What you have to decide for yourself is this: do you think that at this price you'll be getting value for money?

Maybe wait until the new one's out and then you might do even better.

Wannit ? Offer them £13k. Have you seen the rows and rows of new cars parked up on abandoned airfields that the manufacturers can't sell shown daily on the news ? The salesman either wants to sell you a car or not. What have you got to lose ? Faint heart never won fair car. Besides, what you save could go to lowering with good suspension, WIM alignment and a good set of tyres. Then who cares if its a new facelift ? The only face lifting that you will care about is yours.
