Hi, I'm Marc, and I'd like a MX5
Discussion
I'm talking about a mk3 here; getting seriously tempted the more the days go by and now 06/07 2.0l Roadsters are coming into my budget in terms of price and insurance
However, most cars I've seen advertised don't have the suspension package/30mm drop option that was available at new; any ideas how much mazda/a specialist would charge to retro-fit this OEM option? Also, any idea if getting this done constitutes a modification (when it comes to filling out the insurance question "is the car modified from new?")
Still got to test drive 'em (although I did drive a jap-spec auto on holiday the other year, but 30mph limts meant I couldn't get... acquainted with it ) so maybe I'll find the suspension option isn't worth it, but just interested in the meantime.
Cheers for any help!

Hi Mark.
My Girlfriend's Dad bought a Mk3 new a while ago, whilst it's a lovely motor
I couldn't take to it. Two weeks ago he had the Eibach kit fitted at Wheels in Motion and got the geometry done in the same visit. It has totally transformed the look of the car, it now looks like a proper small sports car rather than a SUV. I haven't driven it but he tells me the ride is a lot tighter.
So in summary, go for it.
