As the title, I'm planning on taking the hard top off this weekend - had a few days last couple of weeks where I've wanted to put the roof down and couldn't, so figure it's time.

Am I mad?

Hard top eh? You wuss smile

Roof down whenever possible, even in the snow. Once your fingers freeze you begin to adopt a new driving position that positions them as close as possible to the heater vents.

I actually saw an Audi TT with the roof down in the snow last week, driver and passenger wrapped up in many jackets and hats.

Your all mad. Mad mad people. My hardtops staying on!

In nearly twelve months of ownership I have only driven my MX5 with the roof up twice.

One of those was collecting it.

If I can't have the roof down, I don't take the car out. Simple.

Indeed. It's the way forward - bit bizarre driving in the dark with the roof down!

When its not raining. I don't like driving the '5 with the top up, it ruins the whole experience for me. This is why I have two cars...
