Recommend a garage in Merseyside/W Lancs

Can anyone recommend a good garage in Merseyside/W Lancs?

I am aware Supercar Classics on the wirral can do some works (subbed out??) and Paul Sheard in Congleton is a "bit" too far.

Basically I need the regulation 2 rusty cills sorting, a timing belt change (a bit beyond my fledgling car DIY skills at the moment) and I have discovered a cross threaded spark plug yesterday so may need the head re threading.

i know you said Paul is too far in Congleton, but his bodyshop guy is currently sorting out the rusty sills of my '5

I've heard good reports from the MX5oc of his work, so i can let you know when i get the car back.
(mine was pretty bad, i need not only the bottom of the arch doing, but also round the top of the rear arches.)

If you could let me know how that goes, that would be great. I have a feeling they will need the car for at least a week so it looks like a Saturday morning drop off and catch a train home.

If you could let me know how much he charged you (via PM if you like) that would be good. When I spoke with them on the phone he reckoned about £200 a side (but it's a bit of a piece of string question without him actually seeing the car)

sounds about right.

I didnt go through Paul, i went direct to Andy (the body shop guy). But if you need to catch a train home then it'd probly be easier to drop the car off at Pauls. as Andy is a bit out of the way
