Cracked rear screen, solutions to replace?

Hi

My Mk1 has a cracked rear screen, the rest of the hood is tip top. What would be the best solution. The roof is tan.

I cant find anywhere that can replace the rear section or rear screen for a reasonable price. Can get new tan hood fitted for £230 but seems such a waste when the rest of the roof is in good condition

I had the same problem and it was cheaper to fit a new hood myself

Get a full new hood fitted then sell your old hood to someone with a knackered hood but a good rear window

You can get the rear window replaced with a genuine second hand or new pattern part for about £100 by an MX5 specialist in your area. I did!

but I bought the part and fitted it myself. Easy job and the car looks a lot better with a nice rear window.
