Roof is "disintegrating"
Discussion
Probably the wrong word but not sure how to describe it. Went out to the toy today and noticed that at the back on each side (on the hinges) the fabric is wearing away. Now I bought this car with a new roof and have the receipt that shows it is less than a year old.
I always thought that the (mohair?) roofs were better but this one doesn't fit properly at the front (Leaking onto the passenger seat) as well as seems to be wearing away on those two back joints.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I used to have an MX5 with the usual plastice roof and never saw this happening.

My Old roof was easy to raise and close, but was split along the window edges. (And leaked in wet weather)
The new roof is really tight, it is much more of a fight to close. However, this seems to have tightened up all the seals, and I had no water in the cabin at 70 (cough) in very poor conditions.
Mine is probably too new to be giving me problems. If you have a receipt, maybe it is worth contacting them...
