Wonder if any of you guys can help, The plastic window has split on our 5 its right on the edge of the join is there anyone in hampshire that would replace the plastic window, the roof is in a1 condition otherwise .

You can get just the rear part of the window from mx5 parts.

I did the job mysaelf just a couple of weeks back. I also had a cracked rear window, plus it was all opaque and scratched so I ordered just the bit you zip out from mx5 parts for about 160 quid. It's a pretty easy job and doesn't take long. You don't need any special tools or know how. It is a bit fiddly getting the zip lined up right though. Plus I managed to put it in inside out the first time but that's 'cos I'm special.

But if you do order it from the website order the mx5-Miata enthusiasts workshop manual (the blue one) as well, if you haven't got it already. The instructions on there are very easy to follow.

Check you hood is original.

The rear windows are NOT all the same.

Trimmers will fit a rear screen section to your roof for £50ish but generally you'd have to remove and refit it.
