Does anyone have a MKII(.5) seat I can borrow briefly at some point (Preferrably in East Anglia) as I'm sure they'd fit in my Griff but I don't want to buy a pair if they don't.
I'm thinking I could drive somewhere with the passenger seat out and see how it looks very quickly.
No immediate rush, I'm just musing.

I have a pair of Mk2.5 seats in my garage at home but I'm in Wokingham, near Reading so not very local for you.

ears

Are they "spare" spare or just not in the car at the moment? Would you be able to take some measurements of yours if I can pop mine out and find the dims I need?

well I took them out to fit Elise seats but I'm keeping them so I can put them back if I do another tour of Scotland or Europe as they are much more comfortable than Elise seats.
Let me know what measurements you need and I'll get it sorted for you.

Very interesting. I know Exige seats fit in a Chim so my suspicions about the MX ones being suitable aren't that far off the mark.

I'll let you know dims once I have them thumbup

This is what we have on the Chim thread. The matching dims would be lovely, plus the mounting centres (width and length if poss)

Thanks,

Rob

I'm still very confident about these...

Dimensions:
Shoulder width - 48.26cm
Cushion width (base) - 49.52cm
Max height - 91.44cm
Cushion length (base) - 50.80cm

Will measure the standard seats hopefully tomorrow, but the dimensions do look very promising
Looking at the measurements I took a while ago, I'm afraid they look too big. There's a maximum of 40cm width at 50cm above the seat squab (60cm above the floor). The squab may be OK, the standard seats are 40cm wide at the rear and 46 at the front, the length is the same at 50cm. Height is probably OK, the standard is 90cm. The killer is the shoulder width; the standard seat is only 30cm wide at that point.
