Hi thanks to all that helped me out on how much to bid for the car i went to see at weekend.

Well it was a mark1 1.8 p reg lovely RED, 3 owners, 2 were women, fsh, no power stearing or electrics but i dont care it drives like so fast being polite! New hood last year with glass window and no zips plus hood cover,tax and moted till may plus stainless sill plates, all for £1600. I think i done well, mandy
