MOT - confused.......

Booked my MOT online last night for next monday, I have a 1992 1.6 Eunos.

After putting in my Reg etc it stated the car was 1998???

Now i'm worried about having no Cat and it failing ... I think the 1998 is the year it was imported but i'm sure I heard if its an import or pre 94 then i should be fine with no cat.. anyone know for sure?

Also what are the main things the car could fail on or that I should check out before going in for the MOT? She is looked after so I'm hoping everything will be ok!!

Is it not year of manufacture (car or engine whichever is older) that it goes on?

I doubt year of registration has anything to do with it.

Maybe worth ringing the MOT garage to check for piece of mind.

MOT regs go on year of manufacture, it has picked up the 1998 as it will be the date of first registration in the UK
