Chaps and chapettes,

A while ago, I took a glance at a table with the weight of various MX-5 specific wheels on, but typically didn't save it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Blimey, that was quick. Thanks chaps.

The ones I was thinking of turn out to be among the heaviest.

There's a good list of wheel weights on Nutz.

Why not?

I'm sure there's a good reason, I just can't recall it.

CONS:
They are cheap steel wheels that look like cheap steel wheels.
They are heavy.
They are cheap steel wheels that look like cheap steel wheels.
They are 14" so you don't get the best tyres.
Did I mention that they are cheap steel wheels that look like cheap steel wheels?

PROS:
They are cheap? (Not cheap enough - free would be too expensive).
erm...

I guess they would never get stolen. Not sure if that's a con or a pro though laugh

But if it's what you want then go for it.

Don't do it!

I once had a set of original steel wheels which I got free with my second MX-5. My plan was to fit winter tyres to them. However, three years later (long after the car was sold), they still hadn't been fitted and my wife decided to use them as planters in the garden - but they were even too ugly for that.biggrin
