Anyway no never had a problem with the centre console although its been removed from my track car for a long time. Only bit I had to remove was the door pull as I kept smacking my knee on it.

I'm not sure if I've stopped putting my elbow in the cup holder or if I've just gotten used to it so it feels comfortable
