fking ing top half of a tree next to our driveway broke off in the strong winds last night... only fking landed on my fking boot. Have two small dings in the top of the bootlid now, luckily the paint isn't broken. Why is it always fking me??? Argh!

Last year a roof tile fell off the house and landed on my bike, had to get a new fking tank for it.

In a further irony the council turned up today to trim the aforementioned trees. I had called them about it about 8 months ago. They are arriving 2 weeks too late.

bks.

Council trees? You had already complained well in advance of the incident. Council insurance to fix I think.

Hmmm. Not so sure, isn't it an 'act of god' or something?!

Not after 8 months it's not. I guess it depends what you said about the trees 8 months ago. And if they took any action at the time.

Worth a call though if the damage is bothering you.

Well I said to them, 'these council trees are over hanging my land, I want them chopped back as they look dangerous'. They agreed to come out and chop them. Then last week in very high winds, a big branch broke off one of the trees and landed on my boot, putting in several scrape-y type dents.

I'll need a new bootlid/spray/blend no doubt as there are a few little dents which probably can't be beaten out.

Hope you get it fixed cheap enough buddy.

By the way, is this still the same R-Limited? Did you get it all fixed OK?

Same one. Was bloody mint!! I've had a quote, 300 quid frown Will try and find a bootlid to spray I think as it will be cheaper to spray an existing lid rather than prep + spray I think.

I know someone with a red lid to sell. It has holes for a spoiler though so might be no good for you...

Cheers, but too big a colour difference. There's a few on the bay, including a satellite blue mica one from autolink... But its a bit ropey.
