Righto ,
decided to have a go at this ,
stuck the lights in the oven (bit of olive oil and seasoning optional)
went to take them out and burnt me finger irked!

Lenses came off easyish , one got a little cracked but will be easily fixed , at the mo they look like this

Now i have them apart i just need to sort out what size LED's and what brightness i need .... then get on fleabay , and find a mesh or something i can mount hem in when they are in the lamp housing

Just going to do brake and tail going to leave the indicator with a bulb i think , unless i havent gone loopey from sniffing solder by the end of it thne i might do them as well nuts

Would you reccommend gas mark 4 for the lights? Do they need stiring half way through? laugh

Sorry, I know this is a pointless post but made me chuckle......

I did them according to delia smiths "how to cook plastic" cook book . It recommended gas mark 1 for 5-10 mins , no ned to stir but top and tail them halfway through.

edited because its hard to type on a mobile phone ...

Right done one of the tail lights tonight , as per jons just a ring , i used 6 LED's , should be bright enough i hope

just need some mesh with 8mm holes to do the brake light side of it now , took me ages just doing that , so it will be just led tail and brake light , sod the indicators !

Careful - you'll increase your risks of heart disease with that increased salt intake!

Any chance of a view behind on how you've done it - unless that is part of the secret recipe!

Good job - looks good from the pics,
