Hi All,

Finally joined the club!

Picked up my new MK1 1.8 Eunos on saturday.

Love it already.... while i was trying to get the insurance sorted the car appeared as a V-Spec edition import.

What is a v-spec?

The v5 etc just has it down as a mazda mx5.....

Cheers

Dan

Then the V5 is wrong. In fact it's a Eunos Roadster and technically not actually a Mazda at all (even though it obviously is). Eunos was a range of Mazda cars sold in Japan under an alternate name much like Lexus for Toyota.
They have made at least 2 special editions a year every year of the cars life from the very first year right up to the Mk3 in 2005 (possibly continuing with Mk3). V-Spec was one of these. Have a look here (Help > Eunos) for the spec for your year.

Cheers its a 1994 L plate..... and its white.

But its got electric windows and power steering.....

It doesn't have leather but does have a Momo steering wheel.

It also has a little rear spoiler which leads me to think it may be an S special?

Hmmmm or maybe its just where someone has added bits ad pieces to it!

I usually says on the door shut sticker.

Also most special editions either got the chrome speakers covers and / or bilstein suspension.

Hmmm no chrome speaker covers, infact i havn't noticed speakers in the doors at all - seem to be coming from the headrests - but like i said not leather.

Suspension does seem firm, and car looks quite low. Possibly aftermarket tho...
