Anyone near Brum fancy an informal meet...
Discussion
Hi all,
I've been to a couple of owners club meets, and found them ok, but a bit staid, Just wondered if there were any owners who fancied a meet up, similar to the Virginia water one earlier this year ? I'm based in Solihull, but if there are any takers we could always organise a central location?
Ta all

Brum is a bit of a trek for me so unless there is something else going on at the time like a trip to Santa Pod I'd be unlikely to make the trip.
We had a discussion about the pros & cons of MX-5 OC about a month ago - see here.
What it amounted to was that it really depends where you are. Some local groups are great (e.g. West London, Eastern etc) others are boring (e.g. South Central). That is the main reason groups such as Nutz, PlanetMX5, Phoenix etc. exist.
Basically, if you don't like your local region either join and attend anyway so you can change it from within, start an alternative group like I did with some others to create PlanetMX5 or try one of the alternatives that already exist
