Abingdon Airfield track-day 14/11/2008

I'm bored with sitting around just looking at my car sitting in the garage and I can't wait for Brands so I've booked myself onto this event along with a colleague who has an Elise 111R (Frimley111R on PH).

Anyone interested in joining me?

I've been to Abingdon once before - the track is great it's run very well by MSE. It's a very safe environment for everyone, regardless of their track experience

I went on the 17th, probably won't take the car out on track now until the new year. My favourite airfield track is Abingdon, went 3 times this summer.

My plans for the day have changed now - instead of driving my own car I'll be sharing the PlanetMX5 Motorsports car.
We've just had new GAZ suspension fitted (courtesy of Absolutely Shocks - you might know Gazman from various forums) and will have new exhaust back-box & cat-bypass so we'll be playing with suspension settings to work out the best setup.
Everyone is welcome to come and take a look - if you're nice we'll be offering pax rides too (don't expect too much though - it's a partly stripped out 1.6 on road tyres - it's slowly getting there though)

Pity your so far away, I'd love to come down and say hello. The MaX5 (IIRC)hire car at Elvington is partly responsbile for kicking off my obsession with these cars...
