Alternative power window switch

This might be a kind of odd request, but has anybody ever used a different power window switch for Mx5 mk2?

The story is that I have done away with the centre console because it irritated me, but I need somewhere to relocate the power window switch. Had a look at Mk1, which would probably slot into the loom, but didn't really like it.

I'm thinking i'll relocate the switches to the centre dash panel somewhere.

Got any ideas?

I have the ones out of a Golf in one of mine (fits the same hole)

But really any switch will work if you wire it up correctly.

Yeah I can handle wiring, that's easy.

I guess I just have to get out to a wrecker and poke around until I find something that suits.
