The Mx5 has proper, fully adjustable double wishbone suspension, thats part of what makes it such a good drivers car. But, its also fully adjustable with tie-rods and adjustment on all the links, so getting the cars geometry and setup is kiey to proper handling.

These guys are know as pretty much THE place to go get your Mx5 done, lots of experience and apparently great service.

(This is ridiculous, I sound like I already own one...)

Agree that they are probably 'the' place to get it done, but plenty of other places know their stuff and can dial in the correct settings. I used PowerStation near Tewkesbury (recommended by WIM guy on MX5 forum)

Anyone have any reccomendations for a place in central Scotland to get this done? recently bought my first MX5, a 95 plate 1.8S, and think it could do with a check.

Check the other forums, such as the OC and Nutz as I'm sure this has been asked before. Tony is great, and even though WiM is too far to travel down from Scotland (although it would be worth it!) he can recommend settings to you and will often phone up a place of your choice and make sure they know how to do the alignment properly and go through the settings with them. He's posted on here a few times so he may even respond to this thread.
