Where can I get one without paying too much?

The one I have has some nasty cracks in it and I want to get anoother one before this one snaps! Immobiliser transponder is separate on the keyring.

As Mark says, you 'should' be able to get one cut at most key cutters.

Not sure on the MK1 imports, but I know the UK MK1 has the imobiliser built into the ECU (hehe), so might be worth getting 2 cut and keeping the original in the car????

Mine have separate plastic hoofer doofers for the immobiliser on the keyring. One of my keys is a Mazda one (and is about to snap in half, there are hairline cracks across it!), the other one is a cheap nasty copy.

Was hoping to get a proper Mazda one as it would look slightly nicer... I guess a dealer would do it.....for a price. Maybe my local keycutter is a better idea...

Take a look on eBay. I'm sure I've seen Mazda key blanks on there...

Here.
