Just gone out to my car and some fking st has ripped off my wing mirror, all thats left is the mounting plate on the door and a nice couple of scratches on the door itself....wrs......why the fk do it???

how easy is it to fit a new wing mirror......

piece of cake. Flip up the plastic cover and you'll find 2 screws.

I think mx5 parts have a pair of the standard mirrors for 70 odd quid.

If I were you I would get something a bit cheaper from here:

It is st for that to happen but being an Mx5 they would have probably rusted off anyway!

cheers, ive managed to pick up an identical pair from a friend, for a bargain £20, just got to try and get the marks out of the door now

My car has a really ratty manual mirror missing bits of trim on the driver's side - the original electric one got pinched before I got the car frown

I keep trying to source a black electric one to match but I never see them on ebay and the places that sell s/h ones never have them in in black frown

They are piss poor at being mirrors but i love me classic dowton GP mirrors smile
