Removing spoiler....

....anyone done this? I think my spoiler is factory, but it spoils the lines for me a bit. Easy to take off? Big holes left when you do?

I've been thinking of doing this, although I think the holes are pretty large..

What about getting a replacement bootlid, surely it would be easier? Then chuck the old one on ebay......

mine started to fall off. its fixed back on now though.
basically what you are left with is one large hole in the middle. and some rubber sealer along the width of the spoiler.
there are 2 clips at ether side, that have to be removed (screwdriver)
the one in the middle is a little tricker, access it from inside.
the centre pad also has glue on it.
it will be darker paint where the spoiler was.
mine looked mighty fine without it though, maybe as a cheap fix a , ahem, sticker fix would work.
a sticker of your desire placed over the whole.
but a respray for the lid would only cost a 100 or so.
