As you may have read on another topic she picked up her mx5 last week and again yesterday got waved at by another mx driver (female).

This has happened quite a few times now, so the question is:

Is this the norm with the drivers of this marque?

ps she said she is still waiting for a young, rich good looking guy to wave lol

The MX5 community do wave to each other, although I would say it is more prevalent amongst Mk1 drivers. Personally I don't bother unless I'm out on a club drive and there's a load of us.

Your wife needs to remember that if a guy was rich he probably wouldn't be driving a 5, so tell her not to hold her breath!

He might have bought it as a gift for his cleaner wink

As a 5 driver i am surprised that you are so willing to stereotype! i am sure there are several 5 drivers who are more than comfortably off.
