Rule 1: check pads before track day hehe

Cracking day nonetheless. Difference between this car with properly set up suspension and my old one was significant.

One word of advice - get some replacement wheels! Those Berkeley alloys are VERY heavy!!!!
When I had a Berkeley I bought myself a set of OZ Superlegerra and kept the Berkeley alloys in the garage for when it was sold. I sold the OZ alloys separately which I regret really as I could have used them now...

I might well be there. I'm just trying to sort out a few niggles with the car before I commit myself. I'll be at Brands in November too biggrin

I've had to change pads in a pub car park on the way back from a trackday before.

Rockingham is a laugh but I don't think my racing budget can stretch this year. Fuel costs have bitten, I'm afraid.

i feel your pain brother, it never ends does it. i have just this second got back from having my car finessed by Rogue and she is flying now, much more midrange.

I was using an electronic boost controller to manage the boost but i wasn't happy with the boost delivery so i decided to tighten up the wastegate to 90% of target boost and let the EBC deal with the last bit and overboost alarms etc. The welcome side effect was C.40% more oomph in the midrange and full boost being achieved about 1000rpm earlier, no wonder it felt flat before.
Suffice it to say it doesn't feel flat anymore driving
