Does that mean you get a brand new alternator? Sounds like a good deal!

Yeah brand new, with the work guaranteed by the garage.

Pretty good for £20 a month which includes the usual recovery, fix on roadside etc etc..

Definately worth getting.

Hi fella,
I've taken out one of those policies last month, having acquired an older car it seemed sensible to me, how were they when dealing with it? ie did they make you jump through hoops, or did they just crack on and get it sorted?

cheers.

Hey,

They were surprisingly helpful.

Gave me the number of a few garages in my area, I called one of them and they dealt with the rest. I was on the phone a total of 3 minutes.

I'm pretty chuffed as originally didn't think I was covered due to the car being over 10 years old. But they go by the first UK registration date so I was lucky.

I'd read the small print asap as there quite a few conditions!!

I thought one of the conditions was that the car IS over 10 years old?

which conditions are these other ones that you speak of?
