Hi all, I want to get a uk MX5 for about £1500-2000 It'll be mk1 (because poppy-up headlights are just plain cool) and probably 1.6.
I'll be takking it to Italy and they need a car to be euro 1 compliant or better.

Is that requirement for visiting cars as well? or just if you are moving there? Planning a trip myself in August.

I'd guess that it's only for long-term (more than 6 months). Beacuse it comes into play when registering your car there.
