MX5 meet??

Anyone know of any meets coming up or anyone up for arranging one?

Being new to the little 2 seater i'd quite like to see others, get advice on things to do, grab a beer etc etc...

Also someone possibly doing my timing.....

Have you tried the MX5oc foums or mx5nutz. I think these guys will have meets and things regularly. Ownersclub meets mignt not be your scene though...

Me too - a meet wouldn't be a bad idea as well as a check on my timing too! I am keen for any tips to liven the old girl up at all.....

Cool, I'm bucks/berks but willing to go for a little drive to meet some others...

I didn't realise there was such a following until coming on here...Its the only decent site i can get on at work, and fully responsible for me buying my car!! Only had it a week and i can't stop playing with it!!

a lot of standing around, eyeing up the cars, taking pictures of cars, bhing about the price of the car park before getting a swifty in at the pub and trudling, sorry...HOONING home again. Unless Vixpy does a visit to his rolling road again.

Damn. I'm going to a Mazda on Track trackday at Llandow on Sat 21st and will be staying overnight afterwards so I won't be able to make it to the PH VW Meet - I live locally (Finchampstead, just south of Wokingham) and rarely miss them.

For anyone in that area, PlanetMX5/Cobham Commoners are having a mid-month meet in Egham tomorrow and we have a regular monthly meet at a pub in Cobham the last Tuesday of the month. I won't be at the meet tomorrow but I'm usually at all the regular monthly meets.

The Oxfordshire area of the OC cover the OX HP LU and SL postcodes so possibly your area? I've not yet made it along to one of their meets but will do one of these days.

And there is the "Hemel Massive" too. Not sure if they are part of the OC or not but they have fairly lively meets.

Once I get into the flow of things i'll visit some of the 5 specific meets, once mine is up to scratch...
