Acquired a 1997 Mk1 Eunos Roadster 1.8i recently. There is a badge stuck on the boot lid which I'm trying to identify. I'd like to know if it's original or stuck on by a previous owner. If it's not original I'd like to remove it as I'm planning to get the car back to it's original state. Has anyone seen this before?

Apologies for the poor photos; it's getting dark and my phone doesn't have a flash.

They look like a load of plates from various runs.

I wonder if it's a commemerative badge for someone who completed or participated in 5 or 6 runs.

Across the top: GRANDS RALLYES
Inside the circle: Coupe des Alpes, Rallye Montecarlo, Liege Sofia Liege, and two others that I can't make out.
Across the botton: EUROPEENS

I'm guessing it's one of these

Perhaps they might be able to help you identify it if you sent a picture in (and might even buy it off you!)

Thanks very much. I've emailed a photo to the contact from each site and I'll see what they have to say.

Wow. I got a response already:

"Phil, it is a souvenir badge from the 1960's , celebrating the major rallies of Europe. In original condition it would be worth about ?70, but like that---. I should leave it where it is. Hope this helps."

I think that's his polite way of saying it's a st state ;-)

clap how efficient of them
well now you know the history, it might be nice to keep it on - know what your little car's been up to in a previous life

I think I will. It gives her character.
