Hi all,

pass. side window packed up yesterday (down, of coursewink ). Not even a peep from the motor so I'm guessing either the switch pack or the motor.

Which goes out to lunch first generally? Gonna try the switch pack first to avoid taking the door trim off! I was going swap over the pass/driver side to check but of course it's a multiplug and not individual connectors so I'll have to bodge it I think...

Phils dumb question No1: There not on individual fuses are they?

It just seems odd for a switch to suddenly fail. I'd expect it to play up a bit with slow windows 1st based on the chatter about windows on t'net.

I did wonder about that but the Rod Grainger manual says they're on one fuse. I'll check under the bonnet.

It's never been slow at all and I did squirt some silicone lube on the runners a few months ago. Was just winding it down yesterday and it just cut out - odd. Gets used regularly too so not through lack of use.
